Get to Know Me TAG

So I was wandering around the world of YouTube and saw that a lot of people I subscribe to have done the "Get to Know Me TAG" and I thought I would do one as well! I found these questions on random blogs and put together some questions I thought y'all might like to know!

1. Is there anything in life you would like to accomplish that you haven't yet?
Hmm.. I'd really like to travel more. I've travelled abroad and loved it but what I really want is to spend more time in Europe and possibly move to Paris.

2. One secret you don't mind sharing with us?
I don't really have many secrets.

3. How do you like to relax?
I relax by curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee. I also love to bake when I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed.

4. What was your last major purchase?
I honestly don't make any "major" purchases but I guess my last big purchase was my $200 alarm clock. I really wanted the Sony Dash and so I saved up for one and finally got it maybe two or three summers ago. Now I can't find them anymore.

5.What can you cook very well?
I can bake these amazing "Better Than Brownies" cookies I found on pinterest. Also, I can cook this cajun Shrimp Linguini Alfredo pasta I found on pinterest.

6. What is your favorite holiday and why?
Probably Halloween or Christmas. I love seeing all the costumes around Halloween but I also love Christmas because I love being able to buy presents for people and wearing sweaters!

7. What is one tv show that you really don't like?
I really hate the Kardashian's. But I watch the shows with my mom because she thinks its funny how I yell at the TV with how stupid they all are.

8. If given a million dollars, what is the first thing you would do with it?
Buy a plane ticket to either Denmark (where my sister lives) or Paris

9.  What kind of people do you like being around?
I prefer to be around happy people! I find that when I am around irritable or unhappy people I tend to get into a bad mood myself.

10. What is your one embarrassing moment?
I have embarrassing moments all the time. Literally everyday I do something stupid or embarrassing.

11. What one makeup mistake that you used to make?
Honestly wearing makeup before I knew how. I started wearing makeup in like 7th/8th grade and I wish I would have waiting until I was at least in high school.

12. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would you pick?
Pasta! Oh my, I love pasta. All different kinds. But I think I could live off of Spaghetti alone.

13. Have you got any tattoos? If not, would you like one?
Currently, no. But I do want one on my left rib cage that says "Let it be" and I really want a compass tattoo on my forearm. I'm a chicken when it comes to needles so I doubt I ever get one.

14. What is your one staple clothing item?
Probably Chuck Taylors. I love my converse, I have at least 6 pairs right now not counting old ones I've thrown out.

15. Do you have any bad habits?
Biting the skin around my nails and cracking my knuckles.

16. If you were to be reincarnated into an animal, what would you be and why?
Probably a dog because I am very loyal to those I love.

17. Do you think money is happiness?
Not at all. Money can buy you things but money cannot buy you true love, true family, or true friends.

18. Are you OCD about anything?
Everything! Not kidding. So many things send me over the edge if they aren't done right. For example, no one is allowed to help me clean or make beds. I get so frustrated.

19. Have you ever been abroad?
Yes! I have been to Rome, Venice, Nice, Paris, Munich, Copenhagen, and Jamaica.

20. Do you speak any foreign languages?
I am in my third year of learning French. I took two years in high school and I am completing my first full year of French in College.

21. What is your favourite colour of nail polish?
I love the brands Essie, OPI, and Butter London. The colors I tend to go for are blues, grays, blacks, and sometimes I'll get a bright color but that's rare. I prefer more neutral colors.

22. If you could be anyone for a day who would you be and why?
Myself, I wouldn't want to be anybody else. But If I had to be someone I'd probably be Jennifer Lawrence because we're both goofy and awkward.

23. How tall/short are you?
5'4" so average but I wouldn't mind being a few inches taller.

24. If you were to dye your hair, what colour would it be?
Probably a darker shade of brown that my hair already is.

25. What are you wearing right now?
Awkward question but I am wearing a gray hoodie from American Eagle and Black sweatpants from Converse.

26. Best present you ever received?
So far, my car. I got a 2011 Camaro for my graduation and I absolutely love it.

27. Are you religious?
Definitely not! I honestly do not believe in religion. I believe in being a good person and being good to people. I don't need a "god" to make me be a good person.

28. Cheapest makeup product you own?
Plenty! The majority of my makeup in drugstore but I guess the cheapest brand I own is probably e.l.f

29. Last thing you ate?
Taco Villa for lunch with my parents.

30. How are you sitting/standing right now?
Sitting cross legged on the coach watching the nightly news.

31. Who else is in the room as you are answering this?
My mom and my puppy dog!

32. Who are you closer to, mum or dad?
Mom, no doubt about it.

33. What do you think is the coolest accent?
I really like British accents and Australian accents!

I hope you enjoyed this post! I tag everyone! I'd love to read y'alls "Get to Know Me" answers.

My Lipstick Collection

Hello everyone! I was doing my makeup this morning and while I was picking out which lip product to use I thought I'd post my collection. Almost all of these are affordable and the ones that aren't I either got free or on ebay!

Left to right: Revlon Just Bitten in Sweetheart & Honey, Clinique Chubby Stick in 06 Woppin' Watermelon, 07 Super Strawberry, & 04 Mega Melon. I seriously love the "chubby stick" styles in balms and stains, they're amazing! They go on so smooth and have both rich and sheer color. The swatches really don't do these colors justice, they look so much better on the lips!

Left to right: Maybelline in Pink Wink, Revlon in Coralberry, Revlon in Coral Reef, and Ulta in On the Mauve. I tend to go for darker colors when choosing a lipstick but I really wanted a coral for spring/summer. Normally I would put the Revlon lipgloss on top of the Revlon lipstick but for swatching purposes I did them side by side. The Maybelline and Ulta colors look very similar but the Ulta one is a little lighter than the Maybelline.

Left to right: Estée Lauder in Pink Champagne,  Mark in M.Powerment Petal, Ulta in Dare to Bare, and e.l.f lipgloss in Baby Lips. The Ulta nude is very sheer, as is the e.l.f gloss, which is why you cannot see them very well on the swatch. I saw a pin on pinterest of the Estée Lauder color and had to have it! So I bought it on ebay, as I do most expensive cosmetics.

I am always looking to further expand my lip collection so if you have any recommendations please comment below!

Empties #1

Hello everyone! I have recently been finishing up some products and I thought I would do a little review! I have been finishing these productions of the past few months and I was both satisfied and disappointed.

(Left to right: Secret Clinical Strength deodorant, Origins Super Spot Remover, & Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion)

Secret Clinical Strength ($12): I received this as a free mini when I purchased my razors from my local SAMs Club and I must say I really liked it. It has a lovely clean smell and it goes on really smooth. I don't need a clinical strength deodorant but I would definitely buy the full size!

Origins Super Spot Remover($14): I had such high hopes for this product and I regret to say that I was very disappointed with it. I bought them for $14 at Dillard's because I had heard good things about it on another blog. It worked for the first few uses then slowly it quit working and my acne got worse. I'm not saying that this item wouldn't work for others, it just didn't work for me.

Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion($24.50): I love this stuff! I have been using this lotion since I was a freshmen in high school (I'm now a junior in college) and I honestly can't say I want to try any other moisturizers. If you have oily skin I might not recommend it but I have somewhere between oily and dry but it works for me. This lotion is definitely worth the price!

(Left to right: Calgon Mineral Scrub and Soak, Origins Starting Over Eye cream, Boots No7 Quick Thinking Wipes)

Calgon Mineral Scrub and Soak($7): I bought this item at a local drugstore. I really liked the way this scrub made my body feel, soft and silky. Though it does make your skin kind of oily from the oils it contains. I usually would use this item in the bath then take a shower to wash off my body and get rid of the oils. This item also has some anti-aging benefits.

Origins Starting Over($36.50): I got this item as a free gift when I purchased the Origins Super Spot Remover and I must say I loved it! It is not a heavy eye cream. It is suitable for day and/or night use. I was so sad to finish it! I must admit it is a bit pricey but I would love to purchase it again. I would suggest checking ebay for the pricier items, that's what I always do before paying full price.

Boots No7 Wipes($7): I'm not picky about the products I used to remove makeup but I do really like these facial wipes. They get the job done and they smell clean. Of course, I actually wash my face after using these but I used them to get off the bulk of my makeup. You can buy these at Target and Target.com

I hope you found these reviews helpful and if you have posted your own "empties" blog post feel free to link it in the comments below, I would love to check them out!
